So in August of 2009 I was sittin around eating some bbq and started bringing up the idea of doing a 4G63 swap on a mitsu Mighty Max. So then we decided F it and started browsing craigslist. Sure enough we found 1. The only 1 listed. We called the guy up and went up to check it out.
Second owner car, 63,000 original miles, pretty much rust free. Guy had it since 1991. We decided to get it but at the time I didnt have the cash for it. So i had to hustle off my green S14 for as low as possible just to pick it up. A week and $1,100 later I had this sitting in a driveway:
Its a 2.6L 4 cylinder, 5spd and best part is that it was built in the same year and month I was born: sept. 1986. So it was pretty much meant to be
So now to finish off the 4G63 and the plan is to run an EV0 8 - 16G turbine on the motor. A few custom tweaks here and there and the end result should look something like this:

any progress on the modified truck? anyway i can see that the previous owner have maintained the truck very nicely, i love modified builds that keep others wondering "did he just put an engine like that to a truck" and others would say "awesome!" can't wait to see it and i know that aftermarket mitsubishi parts are acquired to make it a beast.
